In compliance with the objectives of its scientific and cultural project, the Museum possesses vast temporary exhibition rooms that propose large-scale projects devoted to modern art, contemporary art and Art Brut. In these temporary exhibitions, and linked with the creation of its research centre, the LaM proposes original connections between its three collections. The Museum offers a new look at art through its exhibitions, interrogating notably the necessities underlying the creation and the functions of artwork, in a renewed approach to the concept of the artist.
