This summer, the Museum is presenting an exhibition devoted to the work of the Swiss artist Marius Lüscher. It is the artist’s first exhibition in France and comprises two series of works, using photography and painting.

During a stay in Los Angeles, Marius Lüscher created a series of photographs in which he celebrated the aesthetic experience that the city provided him with. Capturing what he calls “constellations of architectural compositions”, he shows us a Los Angeles marked by plays of shadow and light, colorful contrasts beneath the bright sunlight.
The elements that compose his images and the configurations of spaces encountered during his urban wanderings create a kind of artificiality that advances his pictorial research on abstraction.

The exhibition benefits from the support of Pro Helvetia, fondation suisse pour la culture
